Job Description
SECOND SHIFT
- 2nd Shift 2:30 pm 10:45 pm
The Production Team Member is responsible for working on a production floor assembling parts by hand, using tools or machines. Essential Functions - To perform within this position successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each of the following duties satisfactorily:
- Maintain a high level of quality for the products produced
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
- Effectively use hand tools and/or air tools
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Pack and store materials and products
- Visually inspect the quality of in-coming production line materials, eliminate defects
- Meet daily production goals through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform all assembly-related tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure equipment and workstations are cleaned daily
- Support and communicate with Team Leaders on a daily basis
- Maintain housekeeping and 3R5S environment
- Follow guidelines and other policies established by department (according to client handbook)
- Read and/or enter data through computer
- Promote a team atmosphere
- Assist with creation and completion of improvement and/or cost reduction ideas
- Complete check sheets, reports, forms, etc as assigned with accuracy
- Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards
- All other duties as assigned
